This morning the Moon occulted Venus. I observed the event from Kitt Peak National Observatory. The weather was quite poor - clouds, haze, wind and poor seeing but managed to get a couple of images through a Canon EOS 1D Mark II attached to a Questar 3.5 telescope.

I tried to watch the occultation this morning, but the last sucker hole to let me see anything closed up about 20 minutes before it started....
